Dr. Joan McCormack is the founder and former director of Atlantic Hearing Care in Swampscott Massachusetts. Atlantic Hearing Care was acquired by two of her employees in late 2022 with the assistance of the Entheos Legacy Program.
Dr. McCormack joined the Entheos Audiology Cooperative in 2017 and has served on the Marketing and Mentorship Committees. She has participated in several international humanitarian trips with Hearing the Call. Recognizing a need to help those without the resources for hearing aids, Dr. McCormack created the North Shore Hearing Foundation in 2017. This non-profit affiliate of Atlantic Hearing Care and Hearing the Call provides hearing aids and services to income-eligible adults and children.
Joan is connected to her local community as a member of the Marblehead Harbor Rotary Club and Past President of the Swampscott Rotary Club. She is also the Co-chair of the Health and Community Services Committee for the Swampscott for All Ages Initiative. She is a founding Board Member of the Seaglass Village, a community organization helping older adults remain independent and engaged as they age in their homes. She is a past Board Member of the Massachusetts Academy of Audiology.
